Kefei Wen is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences. His research interests include robot design, kinematics, dynamics, control, and physical human-robot interaction.
Before joining CRL in February 2021, Kefei was a Ph.D. student in the Robotics Laboratory at Université Laval, Québec City, Canada. During his Ph.D. studies, he focused on the development of a methodology for synthesizing lightweight, low-inertia, and low-impedance kinematically redundant hybrid parallel robots that are well-suited for intuitive and high-bandwidth physical human-robot interaction.
Kefei obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea, in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
