Zhiling Zou is a Ph.D Student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Before joining CRL in September 2022, Zhiling completed her Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto, and completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Waterloo.

Zhiling's Master's thesis was completed at the Center for Image Guided Innovation and Therapeutic Intervention at the Hospital for Sick Children. Zhiling developed a software platform for continuum robot design optimization and surgical path planning in epilepsy neurosurgeries.
