We are excited to share that two of our master’s students have successfully defended their theses this week!

First up, Thais Baena Moura presented her project, “Network Feasibility Study for Remote Robotic-Assisted Neurovascular Procedures,” to an enthusiastic committee composed of Prof. Myrtede Alfred, Prof. Vitor Mendes Pereira, and Prof. Jessica Burgner-Kahrs. They discussed the impact of network parameters on robotically steered catheters and celebrated her pioneering approach.

Meanwhile, Puspita Dewi showcased her research, “Design of Lightweight Modular Units for Tendon-Driven Continuum Robots in Industrial Applications,” impressing Prof. Eric Diller with her creative design insights and sparking a lively discussion.

Congratulations to Puspita and Thais for these remarkable achievements! We’re proud to call you both members of our lab family.
