CRL visits Toronto Aquarium

Continuum robots are largely inspired by animals. This fall's CRL excursion took us to Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto. CRL members analyzed the morphology of stingrays, jellyfish, seahorses, and tentacles, touched various sea creatures, and enjoyed an afternoon out of the lab. We relaxed over some games and food in The Rec Room afterwards and thanks to our great performance, we won our new CRL member - a fluffed toy fish!

Who knows which animal will inspire our next research endeavour!
